Instagram
playboy Dan Bilzerian has won his $600,000 bet - he rode the nearly-300
miles from L.A. to Las Vegas is less than two days, as part of a
high-stakes wager he made with a poker buddy.
However the gun-toting millionaire is now bed-ridden with a fever and all kinds of injuries after the grueling 33-hour ride.
Bilzerian
made the bet with venture capitalist Bill Perkins that he could cycle
from his home in the Hollywood Hills to the Vegas sign within 48 hours,
and enlisted disgraced sports cheat Lance Armstrong to help him train.
While Perkins admitted defeat after losing, he said it's actually Bilzerian who is defeated.
'He looks like the Grinch — his skin is green,' Perkins told The New York Post.
Perkins
added: 'He's looking like death right now. He's in bed with chafed
buttocks, a fever, hot and cold [flashes], chills, wobbly legs.
'His immune system is down, and every virus you can have is rising.
'I was hoping his muscles would seize up [midride], but they didn't. He used all his willpower.'
Bilzerian,
the son of a wealthy takeover specialist, set off on around 8pm on
Tuesday evening and made his way through the Mojave desert.
He only had only until the same time on Thursday evening to make the trip or he will be forced to hand over $600,000.
However he arrived with almost 15 hours to spare.
Perkins, who was trailing Bilzerian in a RV, said he more than deserved the money.
'Dan risked death a couple of times,' Perkins told The Post. 'I saw a car almost drive right into him.'
'The odds of getting killed were higher than he thought. He was an idiot for taking the bet.'
Bilzerian will be paid $600,000, however the ride cost him $150,000, according to The Post.
The
wager posed a real risk for the 35-year-old who has reportedly suffered
three heart attacks before the age of 32 because of his decadent
lifestyle.
Last
month Bilzerian posted on his social media accounts that he had started
to training for the challenge after he revealed he had not been on a
bicycle for 18 years.
He
later uploaded a video with Armstrong who flew to Las Vegas to help the
self-dubbed 'King of Instagram' prepare for the bike ride.
Bilzerian has been taking his training regime seriously.
'I eat five egg whites and two yolks, oatmeal, fruit and almond butter,' he told the New York Daily News before the challenge.
'Then
I take zinc, vitamin C and probiotics,' he says of his breakfast, which
he routinely eats at 1 p.m. 'An hour after, I ride in the Red Rock
Canyon [outside of Las Vegas] for 4½ hours. Then, back home, I have an
ice bath and an Epsom-salt bath, get a massage, eat again, and that's my
day.
'My legs hurt, my Achilles is popping, my ass is bruised and I've lost six pounds.'
Blizerian has also made another bet on top of the original wager.
He
bet his G4 private plane against Rick Salomon that he will survive the
grueling challenge. If he lives, he wins $250,000, if he dies his plane
is Salomons.

At
the end of 2014 he found himself on the end of a lawsuit after model

Footage
from the scene appears to show Bilzerian dancing on a stage in a club
in South Beach, Miami, with the crowd below him, before he lashes out
with his foot.
However, in March 2015, police said they were no longer investigating the model's claims.

below.
However
she landed short, breaking her foot. She had tried to claim money for
shoots she could not attend following the accident.
Bilzerian
fought back, claiming the model grabbed at his t-shirt at the last
second, nearly dragging him off the roof with her. The charges were
eventually dropped.
