Are Toxic Metals In Imported Chinese Fluoride Poisoning Your Tap Water?
The mainstream establishment continues to support public water fluoridation, although the US government recently had to acknowledge that Americans are being overdosed on sodium fluoride. Additionally, independent researchers are finding more and more reasons why this practice may actually be doing more harm than good.
For many, it may come as a surprise that much of the fluoride that is dumped into U.S. municipal water systems is imported from China. Recent research conducted by Natural News Forensic Food Labs checked the quality of “pure” sodium fluoride that is exported by Chinese chemical manufacturers to the U.S., finding that the fluoride samples were contaminated with several dangerous heavy metals:The sodium fluoride added to U.S. water supplies is contaminated with the toxic elements lead, tungsten and aluminum, a Natural News Forensic Food Labs investigation has revealed. Strontium and uranium were also found in substantial quantities in some samples, raising additional questions about the purity of industrial fluoride used for water fluoridation.
What’s Really in Sodium Fluoride Powder
The researchers acquired samples of 500 grams of white crystalline sodium fluoride powder from six different Chinese chemical companies. They tested approximately 0.5 grams from each of the six original samples. The findings were split into two sets: one showing the highest level of each toxic heavy metal out of the six samples; and one showing the average obtained after testing all six samples. Here are the results:Highest levels, in parts per billion (ppb):
- Aluminum: 283,218 ppb
- Arsenic: 137 ppb
- Strontium: 9417 ppb
- Lead: 988 ppb
- Uranium: 1415 ppb
- Tungsten: presence confirmed in 2 of 6 samples but quantitative analysis not conducted on tungsten
- Aluminum: 69364 ppb
- Arsenic: 70 ppb
- Strontium: 1751 ppb
- Lead: 299 ppb
- Uranium: 239 ppb
Intentional Misinformation?
One of the biggest arguments from the proponents of water fluoridation is that fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral, and that the process of water fluoridation protects public health by restoring this natural mineral in municipal water. What this argument doesn’t reveal is that water fluoridation using sodium fluoride powder is introducing other toxic elements into tap water, which many people classify as safe drinking water.Lead researcher on this project, Mike Adams, comments:
Sodium fluoride imported from China’s industrial chemical factories is not at all the same as a fluoride mineral found in groundwater. There are many different chemical compounds which contain fluorine elements in various configurations. Some are far more toxic than others, and all of them are, by default, labeled “fluoride” for purposes of municipal water fluoridation. This dishonest labeling is of course entirely intentional.Based on this research, it is clear that water fluoridation is introducing toxic heavy metals at a wide range of concentrations into drinking water, with aluminum, strontium and lead likely to be most prevalent.
Currently, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) does not require municipal water suppliers to test imported sodium fluoride powder for potential contaminants. The Agency does require the water supply to be tested for heavy metals, although this is often done using water acquired upstream from the fluoride insertion point.
Are toxic metals from imported Chinese fluoride poisoning your family’s drinking water? Call your city and ask them what they know about this, and start filtering your water to improve your health.
